Loan returnees bolster VCF squad
Valencia CF have begun preparations for the 2020/21 season with their opening medicals, fitness tests and training sessions at the Ciudad Deportiva. Alongside the majority of those who completed the previous campaign with the club, there have been some familiar faces back after a year away on loan.
Toni Lato returns from a season away at PSV Eindhoven/CA Osasuna, whilst a pair of players have come back to Paterna from Portugal:Uroš Račić and Álex Centelles both spent last season at FC Famalicão. All three are straight back into training with their teammates.
David Remeseiro "Jason"-loaned to Getafe CF after signing for Valencia CF last summer- will make his first appearance in training on August 20th. Álex Blanco, whose spell at Real Zaragoza has been extended due to their reaching the Segunda División playoffs, will be available as soon as the season ends for the promotion contenders.
The players will offer a fresh set of options for the team, and new coach Javi Gracia will give them every chance to prove their worth and show what they have learned over the past 12 months away as regular fixtures in starting XIs.
